Welcome - Bienvenue - Willkommen - Välkommen - Welkom

I'm a 29 30 31-year old art and crafts lover originally from Germany, living in Brussels, Belgium. By day I'm a political scientist working full time for an NGO advocating for disability rights. By night (or whenever my time allows it) I'm either knitting, sewing, spinning, or blogging away about things that make me happy. Big things, little things - it doesn't matter but more often than not it involves either a) traveling or b) knitting. 

Besides those things I like: choir, yoga, cycling, languages, Korean food, crafting, playing the guitar, flea markets, the EU, licorice, cats, picnics, listening to radio programmes & podcasts, whistling, Brussels, my balcony, audiobooks, train rides, daydreaming, wooly blankets, couchsurfing, pacifism, opera, the Guardian, hammocks, street art, sauna, camping, coffee (not necessarily in this order).  

Things I don't like: cornflakes with milk, the aisle seat, chickoree (quite difficult living in Belgium), being late, vacuuming, driving, superficiality, wet feet, walking slowly.
